We really enjoyed our trip to Savannah, and as all vacations do it ended to soon! So it's back to work tomorrow!
Moose spent the weekend at the Dog Barn and had so much fun that he has slept all afternoon! My other two dogs, Precious and Ted E Bear are just glad to be back home in the air conditioning. (me too!)

Good Morning! Looks like another beautiful sunny day. Hope you took some time to relax and enjoy your weekend doing something that you love.

Just a reminder about upcoming classes- Crazy border quilt class is June 18th, 10-3pm and cost only $20. This is a great quilt for any "just can't cut it fabric" because the center is not pieced. Can't wait to try this one myself with some of my favorite fabric.
The Stack n Whack class is a two part class June 16th and June 30th. The hours are 10:30-5 and 10:30-2 and the price for this class is $55. I have only two kits like the sample so let me know
right away if you want one. Don't forget to sign up early!
Just recently Sewn with Luv became the proud owner of two baby go cutters and the babies are so special that they include the 2.5 inch strip set and the value die set for one great price. Unfortunately these two little ones must find their forever-home with a crafty person that will love and put them to use right away!
If you need a sewing machine carrier, come in and have a look at the Tutto brand carrier that I have in the shop for display. It can be ordered in several sizes and colors. My prices are below retail so I hope you will take a look and consider Tutto.

New Backings
If you haven't been in lately there are a couple of new backings, blue, green and a med brown. Also in are several fabrics that feature water and tropical fish as well as dolphins and goldfish. Crazy Morning! Finches Escape

Change in the May calendar class schedule
Want to let everyone know that I have added another charity sew day to the calendar. May 18th, Wed. I am starting a group called "Goin' to the Dogs". This sew day is to work on a quilt that will be used to raise money for GA Heartland pet rescue here in Newnan. Hopefully sometime in the future we will raffle it off. I have two quilt kits that we can pick from so I hope you will show up and add your expertise and time. The next sew-in will be June 22 and will continue each month till the quilt is finished. I will list the other dates later. Anyone who knows me knows about my passion for dog rescue and even though I can't take in any more dogs I would like to continue to help, hope you will join me. My first blog! Wow, it's been another rainy day in GA. It had all the makings of a beautiful day earlier but I guess rain is what Spring is about.
My new quilt shop has been open since March 1st of 2011 and is now full with fabric, patterns and all the necessities for making quilts. If you haven't been here hope you will pop in soon.
